To be honest, my intention of taking New Testament as Literature was to fulfill my last religion class for my common curriculum. I chose this class, however, above all the other religion courses offered because it looked the most interesting and relevant to my background. I was raised Catholic my whole life, and I am finding so far that this class is opening my eyes to the metaphors within the Bible. It's a unique perspective from that of a Sunday school teaching.
